Addie, I am in my capstone for my Photojournalism major, so I was going to show a "5 points of view" for the last days of the pigs' lives. Unfortunately, I missed the slaughter this morning, so that's kinda shot. They will be doing the same thing with some steers in a few weeks, so I will re-attempt this idea. I do not know any of those people listed, but sounds interesting. Thanks for the enthusiasm :)

Hey, Michael and Brittany!

Brittany just messaged me on Facebook about your new blog, so I'm just getting acquainted, but I wanted to speak up and say I'd love to see more into this pig process. It doesn't have to be the grotesque of the grotesque, but the responsible carnivore movement is so strong now that I think many of us would like to see what you see.

So is that a class at MU? How cool! What kind of a class and what's your capstone? Also, do you know Bobby Johnson, Daniel Soetaert or Adam Saunders? They are the ones composting from the dining halls. They also teach sustainability/composting classes. (http://tinyurl.com/apokfe)

Can't wait to read more of your blog!
